Boasting 26,000 square feet (2,415 square meters) of enclosed hangar space on the general aviation ramp at Cyril E. King Airport (TIST / STT) on St. Thomas, Standard Aviation is the premier aviation facility in the Virgin Islands. Within a spacious hangar, doors open to a maximum width of 240 feet (73 meters) and accommodate aircraft heights up to 28 feet (8.5 meters).
RESERVATION
OPENED IN JULY 2020
Completed and opened in July 2020, the Standard Aviation facility provides pristine housing for virtually any aircraft, both fixed and rotor wing. From freshly painted walls to shining unblemished floors, this USVI facility is an ideal location for any asset, including ultra-long-range jets. With short-term and extended rental available, Standard Aviation brings a unique offering of world-class aviation facilities to St. Thomas.
SAFETY & SECURITY
Within the spacious Standard Aviation hangar, remote-controlled TugMAXXE 5 robotic tow vehicles precisely position aircraft. An elaborate security system inclusive of in-hangar live surveillance at a multitude of angles enables aircraft owners to rest assured their assets are safe in one of the most high-tech facilities in the region. Created to prevent corrosion and withstand tropical storms or hurricanes, the hangar at Standard Aviation was built to withstand even the harshest Caribbean weather.
